Shooting Update

Monday 10^th November

The location of this scene was on the grounds of my school, Wellington School, which is why I decided to film at 15:15. By shooting at this time I believe the lighting reflected the time of day as Jimmy and Arthur would have just finished their school day. In this shoot I used a mid-shot, long shot, over should shot and a close up.

Mid-shot: Jimmy and Arthur typing on their mobiles

Close up: the mobile (able to see the text message and person they are texting)

Over shoulder shot: clearly showing they are both texting on their mobiles

Long shot: Jimmy and Arthur leaving their school together (friendship)

I believe this shoot went extremely well and am happy with the final pictures. However, there was one problem this being I was unable to show the text message as well as the characters face when doing the over shoulder shot. To resolve this I decided to take pictures of the characters from a range of angles so that I have a big choice to choose from. Another way I resolve this was by zooming in on the mobile so that the text message was clear and easy to read.
