In my
last post I stated that I would be filming two of my scenes after school hours.
At 15:15 I was going to being taking pictures of the scene where the audience first
see Jimmy and Arthur’s relationship but unfortunately this could not go ahead
as Khabeer (playing Arthur) was given a one hour compulsory study on the
morning of the shoot day.
Later
on at approximately 16:00 I was going to be taking pictures of the scene where
Jimmy is visiting his biological father’s grave. However, again this could not
go ahead as my mum had a meeting until 16:15 and so could not travel to Hale
Crematorium. The scene will take place at this particular crematorium as this
is where my past relatives are and I know for certain it has the words “IN
MEMORY OF A LOVING DAD” written on the headstone. Unfortunately the crematorium
closes at 16:30 and therefore I was unable to complete the task of taking the
pictures of this scene.
I have
spoken to Oliver (playing Jimmy) and we have decided to do this scene tonight,
Friday 7th November, at 15:30. Additionally, I will travel
to Manchester City Centre and take pictures of the landmarks within Manchester.
Friday 7th November
Grave scene: Jimmy is
visiting biological father
This
scene will be done when the weather is miserable and the lighting is very dark
because I want this to show pathetic fallacy. This is when the weather reflects
the mood so in context to this scene Jimmy is feeling very low and heartbroken
therefore the weather/ lighting will have to be dreadful and dull.
