My
drawings do not represent my cast; the drawings are simply to show the chronological
order.
My ideas developed:
Grave scene
- Shot of “DAD” written on the gravestone then camera zooms out to show the surroundings (a graveyard)
OR
- Shot of “DAD” written on the gravestone then the camera zooms out to show Jimmy placing flowers at his father’s grave
Jimmy and mother together – devastation
- Shot of Jimmy and mother together (hugging/ showing support)
- Shot of a tear dropping on the floor
Movement to Manchester
- Shot of certain aspects that symbolise Manchester
-
The wheel
-
MCFC stadium
-
Town Hall
Meeting the step-father
- Mother and stepfather arguing as Jimmy watches from a distance
รจ Mother
and stepfather will be arguing in the caravan in the window and Jimmy will be
watching from outside the caravan
Jimmy and stepfather’s relationship
- Jimmy is curled up in a ball in the corner of the room and the stepfather will be shown as a shadow raising his fist (similar to the image I drew for my storyboard)
Jimmy leaving
- See Jimmy walking across a field into the sunset
- Showing feet walking (side on view)
- Jimmy looks back at his mother who is stood at the other end of the field where she is seen crying
Shot of his new school
Meeting with the thug character
- This character is seen laughing at Jimmy and pushing him so that he drops his folders
Meeting the geek character
- See Jimmy texting another character then the film cuts to the character which Jimmy has texted. He then texts back and the camera reveals his face
Meeting the pregnant teen character
The final image
- All of the characters who feature in my opening title sequence will be shown together
- Jimmy will stand out to the audiences the most as he is the main character. I will do this by having him stood infront of every other character so that he looks bigger than them
Nice idea with the footage of your storyboard: can this be made any clearer? CCE
